The Genki Japanese school chain has enjoyed success since its establishment in 2004, with two schools located in different parts of the country: Tokyo and Fukuoka. As well as the Japanese language classes, students also have a great opportunity to learn more about the unique Japanese culture.
The Genki school is located just ten minutes walking from the Hakata train station, in the heart of Fukuoka. Amongst other facilities, students will find restaurants, parks and shops nearby for their convenience. The school itself is located in a modern building with bright comfortable classrooms.
Genki’s successful methodology is based on offering a professional service with personalized attention for each of the students. The school balances structured learning with entertaining activities to help students learn in and outside of the classroom. Each class is lead by a native Japanese speaking teacher who teaches with focus on the students’ interests. Students will have plenty of opportunities to participate in cultural activities alongside their classmates to enjoy a fully immersive experience including participating in tea ceremonies, calligraphy and manga drawing, creating origami and trying on traditional costumes. Students can also participate in visits to temples or even a karaoke party!
All of the teachers at Genki are native Japanese speakers and have also completed training as teachers of Japanese as a foreign language.
