Founded in 1931 by the French poet Paul Valéry, Campus International offers high quality French courses to non-natives and professionals. The school prides itself on its attractive, studious and multicultural environment in the beautiful seaside town of Cannes.
Campus International Cannes offers a wide variety of French courses to meet all its students' needs and interests. Besides the standard group courses, the school also provides some special courses focusing on fashion or cookery. Students can also choose to specialize in Business French or in preparing themselves for the DELF or DALF examination. During the summer, the school is particularly popular with younger students (with the average age in July being 16-20 years old) who come here to improve their French during their school/university holidays. During the rest of the year, the average student is aged between 17 and 24 years old, but there are of course always students aged 30 and above at the school.
Campus International is located in a residential part of Cannes, right next to a public sandy beach. There is a bus stop in front of the school and the municipal mediathèque and palais des festivals are both within walking distance. Constructed in 1904, the attractive school buildings covers a large site and feature a range of modern facilities including a theatre, gym, volleyball and a basketball court, large student restaurant, a first-aid room and a terrace with an ocean view. There is also a student residence on site.
The Campus International team organizes a monthly activity program including visits in the city centre, sports, wine and cheese tasting, and karaoke nights. Some of these activities are free and others are offered at a reduced price. At the weekend and on public holidays, the school arranges various excursions including to Antibes, Nice, St Tropez, Monaco, les Calanques de Cassis and much more. All the Campus International Cannes teachers have a teaching diploma and are native French speakers.
