Malaca Instituto Málaga

Yalea helped me with the difficult decision to book a language trip! Because I had my personal advisor, I always had the opportunity to ask questions. This was always very helpful! Thanks to Yalea this trip was unforgettable!!

Malaga in Andalusia is a wonderful destination, a fantastic city and a point of departure for many amazing excursions to the surrounding areas. The Programme at the Malaca Instituto was excellent, the school infrastructure was good and the teachers were motivated and friendly. I am completely satisfied with everything that was offered.

Another four weeks - which makes six weeks in total -  which I have spent in Málaga this year. Booking and all of the preparation was again done through Yalea. All it took was a quick mail to the client advisor and I had an offer for my next trip right away. I booked a flight quickly and off I went. 

Just like in February (the first two weeks) it was wonderful, this time in May. When I arrived, the weather was beautiful and it gave me a comforting feeling to be back. I took a bus to go to the same host family as in February and Ana, the host mother, welcomed me like a son. It was so great to be back! Because of a public holiday, I had one extra free day and started school on Tuesday. 

The school might be big but it has a family-like atmosphere. The teachers are very motivated and are happy to explain everything a second time if their students don't understand right away. I tried that out several times. After the placement test the day before, I was put into the right group and got to know my classmates pretty quickly. We were only five students during the first two weeks. In the third and fourth week, there were ten students in my class. And still enough time for detailed explanations and jokes.
Yes, the speed advances with increasing material but when you do your homework or read a bit in the afternoon, everyone can keep up. Lying at the pool or beach and going through the course book a bit is actually a nice thing to do. 

There were a lot of activities, just like in February. Dance classes, films (obviously in Spanish) and excursions to Sevilla, Marbella and even a weekend in Morocco. The trips are well organized and a lot of fun. The cathedral in Seville is huge and the nice lady who gave us a tour of Seville explained everything to us which made it even more interesting. The view from the tower was incredible. Málaga also has a similar view. A walk to the Alcazar is a must for everyone, ideally during sunset. One of the most beautiful experiences during this vacation.

The room at my host family was simple: one bed, desk, a big mirror and a closet. The room and bathroom were always clean and Ana, my host mother, is a very talented cook who made us some delicious meals. Typical Spanish dishes. 

The four weeks went way too fast and leaving was bittersweet. 

Conclusion: Wonderful city, a great school with amazing teachers and a host family where I felt like I was with my own family. And: I will be back soon!

Thank you for your guidance! I am full of praise for the school and also for the nice host family that has really enriched my stay! I find the opportunity to have personal contact and practice the language especially important and rewarding, and I have been spoiled with real Spanish food. 

The school was managed with great competence, the teachers are excellent and very friendly. The excursions are a nice break from the concentration during class and give great insight into the Spanish culture and landscape. Málaga is a charming city, small, but full of interesting sights.

The booking through Yalea has always worked great and gave me the security of having a reliable contact person. Thank you for this experience!

I can only recommend the language course in Málaga at the Malaca Instituto, it was great! The accommodation at the Club Hispánico was also super. I stayed in a room that had not yet been renovated but was still perfect. I am simply overjoyed.

The school is very good, so are the teachers and you can meet a lot of nice students, which is also recommendable when you are traveling on your own. I plan to go to Málaga again next year and continue my course. I will have to ask my friends from class when they will be going back so that we can be there together.

After a great consultation with the Yalea team, I decided to do a two week language course in Málaga.
The room at the residence (including fridge) was everything I could have asked for and was cleaned daily. The classes were varied and even the teachers changed. The pool at the campus was the ideal place to relax and make friends. The buffet and menu of the restaurants were also good. Even though the school is not very close to the city center it only takes five to ten minutes by bus to get into the city. The beach, restaurants, and supermarkets are also easy to reach on foot.

In conclusion (referring to the price-performance ratio), I can really recommend a language course at the Malaca Instituto. You will not regret it.

I really like my language course abroad. I learned a lot and am still extremely motivated to keep learning. The school in Malaga is great. They take really good care of maintain a pleasant learning experience and atmosphere. The Club Hispánico was great. My room was small and simple but it was okay. The bathroom was not as nice, but it was enough for me.

I met a lot of nice people. My class consisted of seven students. The trip to Sevilla was not that great because we had a bus where the air-conditioning worked more as a heater, which was not suitable for local temperatures! Unfortunately, the program was not what you would expect for 55 Euros but that has nothing to do with the school.

My flamenco teacher was great and dancing was a lot of fun. The city of Malaga is beautiful. I felt very comfortable there.
