Study Team Trinidad

The first Spanish language school to be founded in Cuba, Study Team offers a unique learning experience centred on cultural understanding. Classes do not take place in a school building but in Cuban homes or community centres for cultural activities. This ensures that learning is rooted in Cuban life and culture, helping you to learn so much more than just language skills.

By taking a course with Study Team, you can choose to split your program over more than one Cuban destination to enable you to get to know the island better. Study Team has schools in Trinidad, Havana and Santiago de Cuba and if you choose to spread your lessons over more than one destination, you will still only need to pay one registration fee.  

All lessons take place within the city centre so that you can make the most of exploring the town in your free time. Every Thursday evening, the staff from Study Team meet with students to help them plan activities and excursions for the weekend. These could include trips to Playa Ancón, a visit to the sugar mills at Valle de los Ingenios or a boat trip to the picture-perfect island of Cayo Blanco. You can also take advantage of the school’s partnership with Paradiso, a Cuban tourist agency specializing in cultural activities.
