COLC Whitianga

The school Coromandel Outdoor Language Center (COLC) was founded in 1988, combining high-quality education with a unique experience in New Zealand. The school is located in Whitianga, a small coastal town on the Coromandel Peninsula on New Zealand’s North Island, and welcomes its students to a comfortable and relaxed environment. COLC is known for the ability to combine your language course with outdoor activities. During the morning, English lessons are focused on writing skills and in the afternoon, students practice their speaking skills whilst enjoying diverse outdoor activities. This way you will be able to not only explore the Coromandel Peninsula but also the “kiwi” lifestyle.

The school is housed in a colonial building, where the brightly illuminated classrooms are spread over two floors, fitting perfectly into the seaside Whitianga setting. The team at COLC offers an interesting program of activities during the week in which you can participate for free or at a reduced price. The school also organizes excursions for the weekends.

All professors are well trained in the teaching of English as a foreign language using contemporary teaching material and techniques to achieve the best results for their students.
