CCEL Christchurch

The school CCEL College of English was founded in 1991, and is today recognized by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) as one of the most modern and high-quality schools in the country.

The CCEL Christchurch building is located in the extensive University of Canterbury, quite close to the centre of the city, many cafes, bars and restaurants. The classrooms are completely equipped with the latest technology, computers rooms and self-study spaces, where students can practice their language skills without interruption. The school also has access to the university’s facilities such as the library and sporting fields.

CCEL Christchurch offers a great variety of courses, including the possibility to take an international exam at the school, as it is an authorized Cambridge exam center. All of the professors at the school are all educated in the teaching of English as a foreign language and have experience in Cambridge and IELTS exam preparation.

The team at CCEL also presents a weekly program of activities in which you can participate for free or at a reduced cost. The team is also able to help you plan your own program of activities for your free time. You can participate in conversation clubs and cooking, visiting sites of interest, attend sporting events and activities outdoors.
