Learn Spanish in Trinidad

Study Spanish in Trinidad, the beautiful colonial town where time seems to have stood still.

Trinidad is one of Cuba’s best preserved colonial towns and originally became wealthy by selling tobacco and sugar. Now it is a UNESCO world heritage site and with its rustic cobbled streets, brightly colored houses and more horses than cars, you would be forgiven for thinking you have stepped back in time when you arrive here.

Trinidad has a well-developed infrastructure for tourism and there are some beautiful beaches, such as Ancón, just a short distance away. Surrounded by the Escambray mountains, Trinidad also has some wonderful horseback riding and hiking trails nearby, such as to the Javira waterfall, a perfect spot to stop and have a swim in the crystal clear water. By night, music and dancing is everywhere and a visit to the Casa de la Trova or the Casa de la Música are particularly recommended if you would like to get a taste of how Cubans like to have fun.
