Our partner school in Brighton is part of the language school chain Kings Education and, thanks to their high-quality education, accredited by the British Council, a quality assurance system for the British ELT sector (English Language Teaching). All teachers hold qualifications and have significant experience in teaching English as a foreign language. In order to make the learning experience more diverse, you will most likely be taught by two different teachers over the course of your stay. The teaching method at Kings Education is diverse and includes dynamic group discussions, role play and presentations.
Kings Education Brighton is centrally located close to bustling London Road only a few minutes walk from the central station, restaurants, bars and the shopping district of North Laine. London Road is very popular with students because of its alternative shops, events, and markets - like the Open Market, the only roofed market in Brighton, which has been in use since the 1930's with permanent stalls and was re-opened in 2014. Only a few minutes from here, you will find the oldest functioning cinema in the country, the Duke of York's Picture House. Close by is the beautiful park The Level, a great place for walks or maybe a picnic during lesson breaks.
Our partner school occupies five stories of a modern building with the two upper floors being the student residence, making it possible to get to class in no time. The spacious and modern classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. The school also has its own cafeteria with a terrace where students can enjoy meals and relax.
Besides the school's interesting activity program which consists of museum visits, city tours, movie nights, yoga, sports and much more, the city also offers a variety of options for how to spend your free time. The seafront promenade is a 15 minute walk away from school and a great place to hang out, go for a run or enjoy water sports like kite surfing, swimming or kayaking. If you want to visit the capital London you are also welcome to do so as it is only a one hour train ride from Brighton.
